What makes people happy.....

Hmmm I had nothing to talk about but after seeing the survey our teacher gave  us about what makes you happy..... and after our philosophical conversation in music the other day I wondering if anyone truly knows what makes them happy I mean are you truly happy with money or video games or music... are you sure you're actually happy, but then again are we even sure about anything in life everything we know or feel is pretty much programmed into our head. Do you think the first humans in the world reacted the way we did when they go hurt? or when someone died? I honestly doubt it I mean why do babies cry when they get hurt? because they see their mother or the people around them crying I mean have you ever had your lil bro or sis fall and  they just look up at you and you start laughing and so do they. I mean everything is programmed through the mind is my belief if you've never sen someone cry than you truly know what it means to cry but if you grow up with someone crying over every little thing than you'll probably grow up doing the same

Interesting conversation

Yesterday during music I can't recall much of our conversation but I can tell you that it was very philosophical I mean have you ever had a group of 15-17 year old kids talking about life and things you'd maybe only hear about scientist or if it were in the old days philosophers don't have much of those anymore I mean we were talking of things other children even adults never even think of in most their lifetime. The possibilities of life and the human body, the creation and destruction of things, a bunch of things creativity and the purpose of life I mean wow. How many people honestly think about the expansion of thing we talking about history and how it repeats itself countering each others theories with theories and it was an actually smart conversation.... one of the few I've ever had and only the 2nd I've ever had with someone other than my dad. I mean life is about creativity the creation of things and the finding out of others, have you thought about this? about the purpose of life

Japanese Elders

Damn are the Japanese strong I mean the places that were hit with the tsunami where mostly "old" places because all the young people are in Cities and what not. I couldn't even believe after hearing about the 83 year old lady who escaped the tsunami by jumping on her bike and riding to a safe place. I mean damn aren't these old people strong :D you go Japanese Elders :p lol I'd have given up -.- I guess I"m weak >_< but either way even the 70 year old who got swiped away  with her house by the tsunami and survived I mean damn that's cool

Japanese Calmness

I just read an article on how calm the Japanese are even after they just had such a tragic event I mean they don't know where most of their loved ones are, they barely have electricity, and food and water is scarce. I mean maybe it's just me but apparently not because everybody has seen at least one or two tragic events like this and you hear about all the dramatic break downs and riots and what not. I mean I'd be mad or sad at the very least but to my surprise and even the author of the article I read that they are really just going through life and showing everyone how well and calm they can be. I'd say I have to admire the Japanese for their reaction to the situation. Good Luck Japanese and may everything turn out to the best advantage for you all.:D go Japan!! lol

Boredom

Damn how time messes with you... you know how certain people maybe even you have but like some internal clock that wakes you up at a certain time of day mine wakes me up at around 8 because of school but today since I didn't have my iPod I had to use my internal clock and woke up at 8.... well that's what I thought when I looked at my clock... which sucks because I was sitting there taking my time and I turned on my TV  I'm like wow why they showing 9 o' clock shows and sadly realized that I was late -.- and that sucked cause I didn't make it 5th period yesterday but I talked to my teacher and worked it out I'm glad :D

Today......

Damn... technology is really taking over I mean I love to read and I have like 4 or 5 books to choose from but without internet I was sooo bored yesterday -.- but the weird thing is that when I actually did get to use the internet... I had no idea what to do -.- I mean I consented with just going on aim and reading manga but since I read so fast I have to continuously change my manga but strangely I can't just sit and read one I get too bored to fast so somebody give me something to do on the internet I mean sure it's vast you can find literally anything you want depending on how you search for it.... but who really wants to sit there and search for something your not even sure your searching for... I mean have you ever done that just searched for something you had no idea you were actually searching for I mean damn that's hard like when you forget something and your trying to remember it... it really sucks lol

No idea.....

I have absolutely no idea what to talk about...... right so after playing around with Ruthnie and through boredom of course I decided to talk about lying so what can I say well to be honest everybody knows they lie at some point or some time nobody can truthfully say that they have never lied before in their whole life. But as I sit here and think what would life actually be like if everybody told the truth? I mean would you truly want to know if your bf or gf is cheating on you? Or if someone close to you just decided hey I hate you? Or if what you just ate was some random disgusting thing you said you'd never eat? I damn sure know I wouldn't I mean sure you can "bend the truth" or only tell "part of the truth" but it's all the same in the end. what do you think about lying? would you rather know the truth or be ignorant to something that doesn't hurt you unless you actually know? I think the truth hurts and I'd rather know it then just be ignorant in the topic but maybe that's just me :x

Bullying?

How bout we start off with this... have you ever been bullied? have you ever been the one bullying people? I mean how can you stop something you know nothing of sure you may know a little but the best way to help or change something is to understand it. I feel as though President Obama has little understanding of this and believe they are trying and it may even work with all the advertisement you may be able to get the young to stop but I believe bullying isn't really something you can stop like violence... even if you try someone some where will still have it in there mind or will bring it back up. To be honest I don't think you change certain things like bullying or violence or even war not with how humanity is now. It sin't bullying you really must consult I think that you should consult the people not only tell them it's wrong but see their perspective. You can't you one side of a problem to solve it I think he should use some bullies to help him with his m"movement" against bullying. Sure bullying is wrong but, like I said, you need the side of the bullied and the bully to be honest in not all cases is it really much it could have meaning to it, maybe some people are just trying to toughen people up, don't get me wrong I'm not pro bully or anything and true if there wasn't any violence would someone have to be tough but you have to think about how man kind is and will mostly always be. And with that I tell you bullying is wrong but hey get both sides before trying to stop it cause it won't help only thinking about the victims then the bullies feel more power lol. well I'm done what's your opinion on bullying? have you ever bullied? I haven't just saying.

Wishes? Confusion?

Well I'm caught up on my work so I thought I would talk about what was on my mind yesterday..... Yesterday while talking to a few people and they had me thinking about wishes, and being confused. I mean me and this girl were talking about a wish we had and I told her my wish was to understand myself, I mean how many people truly know who they are..... Not saying that your some creepy alien or something out of this world or anything like that just saying do you really know what you like? what your mind thinks of certain situations or what you truly not maybe no doubt want out of life, but then again what would life be about if we already knew ourselves. And about confusion which actually also has to do with my wish isn't it annoying to be confused? I mean I hate it even when it's just something little negative is way stronger than positive and if you actually do decide to go against the negative portion it can nag at you the whole time... and maybe even longer until you either lock it up or just go with it... I don't know about y'all but I hate that being confused about stuff I mean even if you really want it do you truly????

Radical American-Muslim?

Wow Today the editorial was surprisingly interesting it was about the view of Peter King, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, on the "Radical Islam". I'd have to agree with the authors' opinion because I agree with what he says about how King is over reacting about thinking that they are a big terrorist group and he displays facts in it to. A point of his was how that the government shouldn't be looking into a religious group just because a few of them have broken the law. Like the author says then "it would be a past time to look into the Catholic Church". I like his view on how things are and think that this is proof that there is still signs of prejudice and racist thoughts still active in this world we live in.

Premarital Sex

Right so today we read an editorial on premarital sex which I'd say the Author was against and we have to make our own with our view on it, so yeah.... here's my view :p

In the editorial he talked about how the percent of teenagers waiting to have sex is increasing over the years, how it's good, and even how they say overall female happiness is decreasing during this "sex revolution." My opinion is to be honest I have no idea I could careless what you do with your life but hey that's not what I'm supposed to to be typing :p so I've thought about it and I'd say I won't say that it is wrong but I won't say that it is right. You really can't tell anyone hey this is bad maybe that's how they flow sure our parents' aren't trying to be early grandparents I mean who wants to find out that they are old. When it comes to being married or not to have sex I think if you really, really think your ready like you've thought it over you've been with the person a while then I wouldn't speak against it just be careful with what you do and try to at least stick with only one partner but if your young most def don't make your relationships or anything about that. But other wise to go on the other side and say you should wait until your married I'd say hey why not. Why would you want to have sex with someone your not sure you'll be with tomorrow, or that might not even only be with you. As for womens' overall happiness I'd say that is funny and I wouldn't be surprised if it's true but you really can't say overall because everyone is different and has different views but hey why not tell me yours? Dueces holla at me I'm gone

Local News

I thought today I might go on a more interesting and not so creepy approach and talk about the Crown Heights students dreaming up new instruments for a shot at the big times.

In this story they talk about how the seventh and eighth graders at Middle School 484 invented and built new instruments for a contest run by Blue Man Group and they will use the winning instrument in a special show. A boy, Stefan Lawrence, made a maraca-styled instrument modeled after African examples he studied.  Blue Man Group creative director Micheal Quinn said the wackier, the better.

National News

Today we have to a National story just like yesterday by comparing two different Sources sadly I can't even seem to find the same story so I sorta changed it.

I picked a story on Abusive Priest in Philadelphia I chose this story because I thought it was kind of creepy so I thought hey this should either scare you out of your boredom or at least have you paying attention. :p

They say that the people are scared because about 3 dozen past accused priest of sexual abuse or inappropriate behavior still are actively working. The parishioners say that they feel discouraged even as they continue to attend Mass. Some of the people believe that the 37 priests should be removed immediately and the church still won't explain directly why these priest are still active. I found this article interesting but couldn't access it from another site so decided to try ad find another like it but wasn't lucky :/ so sorry bout that

International News: Libyan Rebels

Today's topic is on the incident in Libya where Libyan Rebels "repulsed" a mercenary attack on the east coast. It is said that they invaded and took over using assault rifles, air strikes and even anti-tanks weapons, but were pushed back by Libyan Rebels, who were semi-trained, took up arms and pushed them back even through all of it. The two News Sites look upon it in different ways.
